Ingredients
20 gm Yellow Moong Dal (raw; 1½ tbsp)
25 gms Green Peas (3 tsbp)
1 Green Chilli (chopped)
5 gms Ginger (1 tsp)
1 tbsp Coriander (chopped)
25 gms Onion (1/3 medium; chopped)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Oil
Instructions
1. Combine the soaked and drained moong dal, green peas, chillies, coriander and ginger
2. Blend in a mixer using little water to make a thick batter
3. Transfer the batter into a deep bowl, add the chopped onions and salt and mix well
4. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle). Pour a spoonful of the batter on it and spread in a circular motion
5. Cook, using 1/2 tsp of oil, till it turns light brown in colour from both the sides. Make another in a similar way
