People who can be affected by asthma
It’s a known fact that Asthma affects people of all ages. However, more often than not you get it during your childhood. Here’s a list of all the people who are at the risk of getting Asthma:
- Children who experience constant sound of wheezing while breathing or have respiratory infections are at highest possible risk of developing asthma. This health condition tends to continue beyond 6 years of age. The other risk factors that affect children include allergies, eczema, or parents suffering from asthma.
- Among children, compared with girls, boys seem to develop Asthma easily. However, among adults, it’s the opposite. More women tend to develop Asthma compared with men.
- People with different types of allergies are highly vulnerable to develop Asthma, since allergies are the one of the most common causes of Asthma.
- People who get in contact with certain types of chemical irritants or industrial dusts at their workplace also tend to develop Asthma, which is popularly known as occupational asthma.
