Bridal skincare tips – For Dry Skin
Whether you have dry, oily, or sensitive skin it is important to take care of it. Among all the different skin types, dry skin is probably the most difficult one to deal with. People with dry skin are more prone to developing wrinkles at an early age, and may also suffer from thyroid disorders and experience allergic reactions to certain cosmetics.
So if you want to get rid of your dry skin before your wedding, or simply want relief from skin problems, follow the tips mentioned below and you will have glowing flawless skin in no time!
Keep hydrated
Drinking adequate water is one of the easiest and best home remedies for dry skin. Make sure to drink at least three to four litres of water in a day. This will improve skin elasticity and keep your skin nourished throughout the day. Drinking water also prevents the formation of wrinkles.
Honey
Honey locks moisture into the skin. It provides excellent nourishment for your skin and prevents sagging. Apply few drops of honey to your face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Within a few weeks, you will find a great improvement in your skins condition.
Milk
Milk is an excellent home remedy for dry skin. Milk contains natural fats that can add glow and shine to your face. Before going to the bed every night, drink a glass of warm milk with a few drops of almond oil in it. This will give you smooth, baby soft skin.
Oils
Oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, sesame oil, or avocado oil are great for your skin. Gently massage with any of these oils in upward and circular motions to remove all dryness and keep it moisturized.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal is an excellent home remedy for dry skin. Take some oatmeal in a bowl; add some honey and vitamin E capsules to it. Mix this well and massage it on your face in gentle upward and circular motions. Do this daily for effective results.
Bananas for dry skin
Bananas are an excellent moisturizer and skin toner. Pick the ripest bananas and mash them into a paste. Add some sugar to this paste and rub it on the face in a circular motion. All the dry and dead skin cells will be scrubbed away by the sugar and your skin will become smooth and silky.
Vanilla
Vanilla extract is an excellent remedy for dry skin. Mix some vanilla extract, oatmeal, and baking soda in a bowl. Pour it into a bathtub full of warm water. Soak your body into it and enjoy the amazing nourishing experience.
Vaseline
Vaseline is another wonderful remedy for dry skin. If you have a dry face, then apply some Vaseline, massage it in circular motions for 15-20 minutes and rinse it off. You will be amazed to see how your face will become soft and smooth.
Apart from these home remedies for dry skin, diet also plays a significant role in keeping your skin moisturized. So maintain a healthy diet and do follow these easy home remedies.
